Your baby’s gender depends on which chromosome gets to the egg and fertilizes it first. If Y chromosome, which is the male sperm, wins, then you’ll have a baby boy and if X chromosome, the female sperm, wins, obviously you’ll get a baby girl. By knowing this facts, you can easily manipulate which of the sperm cell reaches the egg first. In order to do this though, you must know each chromosome’s characteristics.

The male sperm are known to be weaker than the female sperm and cannot last long in a high PH or an acidic environment, it will kill them off. While on the other hand, female sperm can tolerate such an environment. So simply put it this way, if you want a boy, you’ll need to lower your PH level and if you want to have a baby girl, you may want to increase your PH level and become more acidic.

You must first know what your current PH level is. You can do this by using testing strips available at any health stores or even online. Testing strips are inexpensive, its ok to be reused, and accurate. You’ll have your results in just a few minutes. And by taking the test, then you’ll know where to start and how far you need to go depending on which gender you’d like to conceive.

Once you’ve determined your acidity and PH level, you may want to follow it up with the right diet that can control it. If you want to conceive a boy and wanted to lower your PH, you should go on a low PH or alkaline diet. And if you are trying to conceive a girl, you must consume obviously acidic foods. Douching would be a great option too. You can continue using the testing strips to help you monitor on how much your PH is moving up or down.
